John joined our team 2 years ago, bringing 20 plus years of experience in new custom homes. He's an exceptional carpenter with a range of talents. We appreciate his ability to motivate and educate our team, making everyone feel at ease with his words and backing it up with his impressive skills. John brings a lot of positive energy to our crew. Don’t forget to ask him about his 20,000 hours as a tandem skydiving instructor! 

Penny Bommelje (Bomb-L-J), joins us as our Relationship & Social Media Manager, bringing with her a decade of experience spanning painting projects & renovation ideas, customer service, social media, sales and marketing. Her extensive background and enthusiasm for helping others will be a great asset to our customers.

Penny’s eye for color will be especially valuable in curating the perfect materials for your renovation projects. Originally from England via Chicago, she has made Lakewood her home for nearly four years. Outside of work, Penny enjoys spending time on the lake with her family and dining out with friends at the Argyle.

 Mazen has been with us for over two years, and his dedication and concentration are evident in his work. His heart truly belongs to art, and he spends his free time creating and selling paintings online. On weekends, he enjoys knitting and watching movies with the lovely Julia. Mazen earns kudos for always arriving early and his kind heart shines through. Though he’s quiet and a bit shy, he has an unexpected knack for making you laugh. Above all, he cherishes family time. 

Adam is a dedicated Paint Crew Lead who has been making an impact for the past seven months. With over 20 years of experience in the painting and construction industry, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. A proud Army Veteran, Adam's commitment to excellence and leadership shines through in every project he undertakes. His extensive background in the field not only showcases his skills but also reflects his passion for delivering high quality results.

Justin has over 30 years of painting experience, he’s a dedicated member of the McRoy team. Justin loves working for McRoys—not just for the painting but for the family atmosphere. He feels proud and blessed to be part of such a close-knit company.

In his spare time, Justin enjoys playing guitar, bass, and drums. He also loves writing and recording music. His favorite pastime is spending quality time with his grandkids and cheering on the beloved Chiefs.
